Martyn 8 - made 3 or 4 very good saves. Seemed to come for more crosses too.

Kelly 4 - oh dear, testimonial year or not he gets no sympathy from me. Useless.

Harte 5 - not helped by lack of a left sided midfielder but panics too often on the ball.

Mills 8 - Played in the centre of defence and played superbly.

Matteo 7.5 - Backs to the wall stuff 2nd half and he kept things together quite well.Not sure why we defended so deep from 50 mins onwards.

Smith 6 - effort was second to none. Positional play was simply not right in every sense of the word.

Bakke 2 - dog crap

Batty 7.5 - if it moved he tackled it. Booked.

Bowyer 6.5 - nothing really came off for him today but tried hard

Viduka 5 - amazing goal but the rest of his play was laboured and half-hearted

Keane 7 - bags of energy and running, only got 2 passes in the 2nd half though.
