If David O'Leary can't be arsed using his subs then I cant be arsed
writing a report.

We threw this game away. After an hour all the signs were there that
Liverpool were winning the midfield and Batty would have been the ideal
man to have sewn it up.

Also why Smith didn't have a run out I'll never know. It defies all
logic to me. Just how badly does Viduka have to play in order to be
subbed ?

O'leary is STILL complaining about the size of the squad - so why did
Batty and Smith only get 5 minutes between them when it was such a hot
and energy zapping day ????

O'Leary you amaze me.

Martyn 6 - No longer commands his box.

Mills 7 - Very physical. Has now forced Bin Laden down to public enemy
No.2

Harte 5 - His feet and brain dont move quickly enough when he's under
any sort of pressure. Stood and admired Fowler's chip as Murphy stole in
to head in the rebound.

Matteo 7 - Undid all his hard work by laying off Fowler for their goal.

Rio 8 - A great game at the back.

Bowyer 5 - Never on the right, cannot pass the ball to save his life.

Bakke 7 - Usually "hides" against the big teams but this was a much more
assured performance from Eirik.

Dacourt 8 - The linchpin of ther side. Pure class.

Kewell 7 - Drifted in and out of the game but scored again.

Keane 8 - Ran his nads off and showed great movement and skill.

Viduka 5 - Ran nowhere and showed no movement and little skill.

Subs/

Batty - only given a few minutes and had a chance to win the points but
chose not to shoot.

Smith - not used - why why why why ?
